The Rehoboth Beach Writers’ Guild is founded on the belief that as writers we can--and should--use our skills and talents to help give voice to the many people who have important and necessary stories to tell that, for whatever reason, are not being told. Through our Free Writes! Reading Series and Young Writers’ Program, we hope to educate, encourage and
nurture writing of all kinds at all skill levels.

In memory of Sam and Zachary
The 2010 Writers at the Beach: Pure Sea Glass, after expenses, netted $15,000. All of this money has been donated to Nemours/A.I.duPont Hospital for Children in honor of my nephews, Sam and Zachary Juhlmann, both of whom died of mitochondrial disease, Sam at age 7, Zach at age 15. The funds we donated will be used specifically to help those families whose children are being treated for this disease.
We also donated ten boxes of books to the National Reach Out and Read program. These books will be given to children who visit Nemours hospitals and clinics. Thank you!

Summer Free Write! Time Changes
Summer free writes! on both Saturday and Monday at the Rehoboth Beach Public Library will begin at 8:00 and last until 9:55. Wednesday and Friday Free Writes! will stay the same.
